Alex is an experienced executive educator, coach and facilitator with over 20 years experience as an HR and OD leader in professional and financial service organisations.
After 10 years at PwC in the UK, Alex moved into independent consultancy in 2006 where his client base expanded to include not for profits, elite sport and public sector organisations.
Alex specialises in leadership development, leadership team effectiveness and the creation of trust based business partnerships and collaborations.
Alex is particularly interested in raising awareness for how unseen systemic forces in organisational life frequently get in the way of effective leadership and an organisation’s ability to optimize the capability and potential of middle and senior managers.
Alex seeks to develop leaders who think and act systemically, equipped to deal with complexity and change, whilst holding on to an authentic identity.
Alex has co-created and delivered leadership development programmes in the UK, Central and Eastern Europe.
Alex typically designs and delivers modular development programmes that include a blend of experiential learning, facilitated Action Learning, one to one coaching, 360 feedback, project work, core skills and theory.
Alex is acknowledged for the energy, enthusiasm, fun, support and challenge, powerful insight and intuition he brings to his work.
In 2012 Alex migrated to NZ with his NZ born wife and 2 daughters. He is a passionate choral singer, a keen gardener, a trainee rugby referee and a leader in his daughters’ Sea Scout group.
