The power of leadership conversations

Leadership conversations are so important right now. They can make people feel safe, help them navigate through change plus ensure people are emotionally resourced to manage the uncertainties that lie ahead.

We have adapted our Leaders as Coaches course to equip leaders with the skills they need for both regular catch ups with individuals and powerful conversations with teams. Organisational change happens one person at a time and leaders need to either invest a reasonable amount of time in addressing the concerns or fears of their people or face the fact that they will have to invest unreasonable amounts of time managing disruptive or unproductive behaviour down the track.

Feedback Made Easy is another great workshop for leaders who want to get the best out of the people they lead. You can brush up your skills for your leadership conversations in a face to face workshop or access our virtual coaching workshops online via Zoom.

Virtual training courses

Whilst the technology is doing a great job of bringing us together, it is the quality of the conversations and the experience once we get there that makes the difference. We have developed a series of 2 hour virtual workshops delivered via Zoom on Leading Virtual Meetings, Coaching Skills and Leading Virtual Teams.

These workshops have been supporting leaders to coach in a virtual world and empower their people to step up to leadership at a local level.

Strengthening Teams

Many teams have been through the ultimate team building workshop as they have had to quickly adapt to working together apart.  ‘My team mates have my back’ is one of the 8 factors that contribute most to engagement at work and team cohesion has been high in many teams as people faced the crisis together and found new ways of working.

NZCMC has been working with leaders and teams as they of re enter the physical workspace and go through the process of regrouping for the tasks ahead.

Teams and Teamwork provides an opportunity for them to reconnect as a team, to debrief the experience, build their resilience and regroup for the tasks ahead.

They give people a chance to identify what to hold on to, what needs changing and what has to be let go of as they move in to the next phase.  Resetting expectations and rethinking strategy can be incorporated into these interactive team workshops.
